- More testosterone and less estrogen (fat hormone)
- Better circulation
- Massive caloric burn
So if you are serious about learning how to lose cellulite, don’t spend all day running on the treadmill.
But is it really that easy? There must be a catch, right?
The catch: you also have to use specialized exercises that can target all the hard to reach muscles in your lower body.
Otherwise, you could end up getting in great shape only to notice that some cellulite is still there.

For some this will happen fast, for others more patience will be required.
Now there is a lot of information on how to do total body circuits, so I won’t get into that here. However, in terms of exercises that target all the hard to reach muscles in your lower body, you will be best served using stability training.
To do this you can exercise on bosu balls, dyna discs, one foot, wobble boards, etc. There are many techniques for implementing stability training. Just make sure you follow two key principles:
- Slowly progress onto more difficult exercises
- Focus on activating your glutes (butt)
Do this and you will accelerate the “smoothing out” of your lower body.
In essence, you are burning the cellulite candle at both ends here. You’re losing the dimply fat while simultaneously making the underlying muscle smoother and tighter.

The Nutrition Part Of The Equation
Arguably, nutrition is even more important than exercise because no matter how much exercise you do, if you don’t watch what you eat the cellulite will never go away.
Unfortunately, just like cellulite treatments, there is an infinite amount of diets out there.
So ignore all the hype and just focus on two things:
- Eating less calories than you burn
- Maintaining low levels of blood sugar
No matter how healthy you eat, if you aren’t in a caloric deficit the fat will never come off. And maintaining lower levels of blood sugar will accelerate your results.
Because blood sugar controls insulin. And even the slightest increases in insulin can shut down fat burning.
So what type of diet can address both of these issues?
A diet that has balance between these groups: protein, carbohydrates, fat and vegetables.
That’s right, you don’t need an exotic berry from some far away jungle or a stockpile of grape fruits to burn fat.
All you need is a balanced diet that makes it easy to maintain a caloric deficit.
Here is how to fine tune your diet to lose cellulite faster:
1. Eat protein sources low in animal saturated fat
2. Eat carbohydrate sources high in fiber and low in sugar
3. Eat a wide variety of fats, don’t just focus on omega-3
4. Eat the darkest colored vegetables
5. Eat smaller, more frequent portion-controlled meals
6. Supplement with caffeine if energy drops
7. Drink water in between meals
8. Avoid all liquid calories like smoothies and juice
9. Avoid all white pasta and bread
10. Avoid alcohol, even in moderation
11. Make 1/3 of your calories come from fat
And if you really get stuck decrease carbohydrate intake, increase protein intake and reduce portion sizes by 15%.
I don’t recommend a digital scale, but I don’t recommend winging it either. Keep tabs on your portion sizes and adjust them according to your rate of progress.
You will notice that your body starts to get a little warmer than usual once you enter the fat burning zone.
